Job Description

I am partnering with a global asset management firm managing an assortment of equity, private equity, fixed income, and hedge fund strategies for its clients for a Marketing Manager.

This role is based in Singapore and will be overseeing the Asia region (exclusing Japan and Korea). You will be reporting to the Vice President of Marketing.

Job Description:

• Work closely with the Singapore and Hong Kong sales teams as well as the Regional Marketing team to develop and execute marketing initiatives for the intermediary and institutional business in Asia
• Manage and support global and local marketing campaigns, local events, distributor campaigns and product/fund manager roadshows and webinars in the region
• Oversee the management and production of marketing collateral and premiums for clients in Asia
• Manage and support local digital and social media initiatives
• Collaborate with other regions and other teams (Marketing, Product, and Design) in the UK and US
• Manage vendors and service providers (printers, advertising, and PR companies) as well as perform regular service reviews of service providers
• Utilize market intelligence to enable the business to develop a competitive advantage and identify new business opportunities
• Undertake strategic ad hoc projects as required

The Ideal Candidate:

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in the finance industry, preferably in asset management marketing
• Experience in global financial institutions with regional experience will be advantageous
• Expertise in marketing communications (branding / advertising / sponsorship / event management / digital) and understanding how effective such tactics are across the institutional and intermediary channels is essential
• Knowledge of the investment management process, products, and their relevant sales/distribution channels
• Detail oriented, proactive, dynamic, and highly client-focused self-starter
• Degree in a relevant discipline
