What You’ll Do
Our Post Closers administer essential functions necessary to satisfy investor requirements for loans after closing. You’ll coordinate with all loan parties to obtain documentation and/or corrections as needed. play a critical role in the loan approval process. It’s critical to adhere to investor guidelines to ensure all loans are sold.
Responsibilities

• Review and ensure loan documents are accurate and complete in adherence to regulatory, investor and company guidelines ready for final approval to investor within established timelines.
• Work with various systems and reports to assure that all deficiencies are cleared.
• Promptly obtain any documentation requested by investors or insuring/guaranty post-closing.
• Keep up-to-date and maintain a working knowledge of all current underwriting guidelines, federal and state lending laws and can comprehensively explain to others within and outside the organization.

Qualifications

Requirements

• 2- 4-year college curriculum preferred, or equivalent industry experience
• Six months to one-year related experience and/or training
• Broad understanding of residential mortgage loans, and familiarity with mortgage loan products
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that will challenge you
• Knowledge of Encompass or equivalent to include basic computer skills
• Ability to solve practical problems and navigate through a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
• Positive attitude, excellent attention to detail, and a strong work ethic
