Mullinahinch House Nursing Home Hiring for Kitchen/Domestic Assistant Job at Monaghan , Ireland Full Time

We are seeking applicants for the post of a Kitchen/Domestic Assistant with Mullinahinch House Nursing Home to join our highly motivated and focused team. This is an established home catering for the care and accommodation of 54 residents. This is a fantastic opportunity for the successful candidate to further their career with one of Ireland’s leading private nursing home operators.

Experience in a similar role and knowledge of HACCP is preferable however not essential. Training will be provided for the successful candidate. The ideal candidate will have good organisation skills and ability to work on their own initiative. High standards of cleanliness and infection control are a priority for the home, so a keen awareness of their importance is essential.

Duties include:

• Daily cleaning of general areas and residents’ rooms.
• Proper use and storage of cleaning equipment and cleaning solutions.
• Taking delivery of goods and storing them.
• Ensure that they are fully aware of the HACCP Programme and that HACCP guidelines are fully implemented.
• Assist the Chef with the preparation, cooking, and distribution of meals.
• Assist with the delivery of meals to units.
• Ensure all requirements are met, depending on residents needs/requests.
• Keep all areas in the kitchen and stores areas clean and tidy.
• Complete all HACCP forms as required
