We export to over 15 nations in the South Pacific utilizing our parent company and other allied shipping services. We deliver vessel, ground, and air fuels as well as LPG and lubricants across the region. Job Description

We’re looking for an Export Coordinator with shipping/freight experience, preferably in Exports, who will be the face of Pacific Bulk Fuel to our customers, while continuing to improve and enhance the customer experience. This position will interact with all functions of Pacific Bulk Fuel to ensure the smooth and efficient processing of import and export services.

Here’s some of what you’ll do:

• Receive and acknowledge customer orders
• Review and schedule shipments to the correct vessels
• Liaise with suppliers, carriers, transport providers and storage companies to facilitate the loading and delivery of orders
• Update the Export Vessel Summary with costing sheet information
• Arrange Customs Export Delivery Orders, Bills of Lading and other certificates
• Issue invoices, insurance certificates and other relevant documents to compile and send to clients
• Collaborate with customers and shipping companies to facilitate the return of empty ISO equipment back into New Zealand
• Assist the accounts team to facilitate fuel rebate claims

This is a role where you will develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholder, as well as contribute to the continuous improvement of our systems and processes.

Qualifications

Here’s what you’ll bring to the table:

• 3+ years shipping/freight experience in similar position
• Previous use of Greentree system would be advantageous (but not essential)
• Dangerous Goods experience would be beneficial
• Team player with positive, customer-centric attitude
• Ability to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, shipping and transport companies and ports
• Exceptional communication skills, with intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions in fast-paced environment
• A demonstrated adaptability to work to changing deadlines, using effective time management and planning skills

Training will be provided if you have the exports experience, a “can do” attitude and strong work ethic. All applicants must have the right to live and work in New Zealand at the time of applying. The successful candidate may be subject to undergo a Police Check and/or Pre-Employment Drug Test.
