Covid Tester

Norton Staffing and Associates is seeking qualified individuals within the healthcare field (CNA/Medical Assistants/etc) to conduct Covid Testing. The schedule runs 7/9-7/23(1x per week on Mondays),9/1-8/26(3x per week Monday,Wednesday,Friday),and 9/1(Thursday).They will likely be morning shifts.

Please note that payrates are strictly based on licensure/certification.

Responsibilities:

• Organize and sanitize space in preparation for collection and testing

• Receive and catalog samples for testing, with attention to organizational systems and privacy and safety regulations

• Administers sample collections

• Prepares specimens for testing, if required.

• Ensures quality control on samples collected, being responsible for proper sample collections by students, faculty and staff.

• Assist participants unable to provide samples of their own

• Assistant staff in sample collection when required

• Register collection tubes in an online portal and record names of pool participates

• Reports to the Program Coordinator on site

Requirements:

• at least 1 year experience in the healthcare field

• School nursing or public health experience preferred

• Ability to work a flexible schedule

• Reliable transportation

• Excellent communication skills.

• Highly organized and able to manage multiple information sources.

• Proficient IT skills and ability to pick up systems and software quickly.

• Fast learner with ability to take in large amounts of information and learn quickly.

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $26.00 – $30.00 per hour
