Responsibilities

Reporting to the Laundry Supervisor, the successful applicant will be required to:

• Provide a supply of clean, sanitary linen for various hospital departments;
• Collect soiled linen from various hospital departments;
• Maintain the linen rooms in a clean, sanitary, safe and orderly manner in accordance with established procedures; and
• Wash, dry, fold, sort, and label personal resident clothing.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 required (employees hired prior to September 2004 exempt)
• Knowledge of Infection Control procedures
• Competencies in other languages is an asset, French preferred

Hours of Work

Permanent Full-Time position, 75 hours bi-weekly.

Salary Information

$17.93 – $19.37 Hourly
