NOW Real Estate Group has an exciting opportunity for someone who has an interest in Real Estate. Our fast-paced office is hiring for an Office Support Position. The right candidate will report directly to the Broker and must be comfortable working in an office environment as a Team Player with little supervision at times. This role will be working closely with the Broker, Receptionist and other Office Support Staff to maintain an efficient organized office with a reputation for being one of the best Real Estate Brokerages in the area. The person that would best suit this position would have a great sense of humor, be able to adapt to all different types of personalities and work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. Experience in Real Estate and/or Accounts Payable/Receivable is an asset but not required. We are willing to train the right individual that proves to posses Exceptionally Strong Leadership Attributes, Excellent Organizational Skills, Effective Oral & Written Communication Skills, An Eagerness and Capability to learn Quickly, and can provide evidence of previous Administrative Experience and Long-Term Previous Employment. More Consideration will be given to the applicants who can express the right Aptitude, Great work Ethic and Reliability. You must have your own transportation, be bondable and able to adhere to a strict Office Privacy Policy and all Canadian Privacy Laws. This is a full-time position Monday to Friday 8-4:30 in our conveniently located office in Sherwood Park. The rate of pay is $ 18.00 per hour.

A few of the duties you will be providing support for will include but are not limited to:

Ø Learning all aspects of the daily operations of the Real Estate Brokerage.

Ø Learning all Office Policies and Procedures and ensuring all business dealings of the Brokerage follow all protocols and meet all Legislative Requirements.

Ø Learning all the Rules, Bylaws, and Regulations of all Canadian Real Estate Associations the Brokerage is a member of along with the Real Estate Act, Rules and Bylaws to ensure our office meets compliance with all Government Legislations that pertain to the Real Estate Industry.

Ø Accounts Payable/Receivable – Ensuring the company’s Payables and Receivables are kept up to date and in good standing. Ensuring all Real Estate Trade files are conveyed in a timely manor. Bookkeeping, Balancing of Accounts, Accounts Payable/Receivable, and Invoicing. Daily Banking.

Ø Working closely with the Broker, Receptionist and all Office Support Staff to efficiently maintain an organized office, positive work environment for the REALTORS® and our clients and to efficiently process all Real Estate Listings and Trades.

Ø Learning all Office Systems & Programs and Maintaining Office Equipment, Training Associates to use such programs.

Ø Preparing Presentations and Organizing office meetings.

Ø Planning, Organizing and Executing the Brokerages Recruiting, Retention and Fundraising Initiatives.

Ø Training of Associates and Staff on Office Policies and Administrative Procedures.

Ø Updating and Maintaining the Office Policies and Procedures Manuals and educating our office staff and Associates ensuring all office members are educated on Policy and Legislative changes.

Ø Ensuring all office Associates stay current with their Real Estate Licensing, Mandatory Education and Membership where required with the local Real Estate Association’s.

Ø Help Develop and Execute the Brokerages Marketing, Lead Generation and Support programs.

Ø Effective management of the office staff and administrative functions of a Real Estate office.
