Job Summary:
The Energy Sales and Marketing Analyst position will support our Builder Multifamily sales and Apartment Community Program team and management and will be located in either Plano, TX or Houston, TX. This position will be responsible for data management, reporting, supporting all marketing initiatives, contract management and assist sales with all areas of the customer and sales lifecycle. This role will be heavily focused on researching prospective leads, using existing processes and systems, as well as performing other sales and customer support duties as assigned
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Support all levels of new enrollments, renewals and customer acquisition functions
Use all internal systems, files and databases to produce regular reporting and update sales metrics
Use excel and salesforce to track and report various sales performance measurements and activities
Be proficient in navigating all internal drive, processes and files to create and update necessary reporting and dashboards
Prospect and do various research projects, to create leads and sales opportunities
Be proactive in creating new process flows and ways to improve on current procedures, to increase internal and external customer satisfaction
Produce all necessary reporting timely and accurately
Be a liaison between sales and all Builder Multifamily support departments
Assist with marketing strategies, trade shows, specialty items, branding and vendor partnerships
Support our Energy Marketing Managers and Energy Marketing Associates as needed
Assist with contract management through all cycle
Be familiar with all databases, while updating and maintaining accurate information
Have a solid understanding of contract lifecycle and assisting throughout the process, from proposal to onboarding and countersigned agreements
Assist with creating pricing proposals, updating pricing requests and sales presentation preparation
Minimum Requirements:
Associates degree.
In lieu of a degree, a high school diploma plus two years of experience working in sales or marketing support function, may be considered
Multifamily experience preferred 6mths – 1 year
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous sales experience
Microsoft Excel Proficiency
Previous energy/utility experience
Previous sales support experience
Previous marketing experience
Previous experience and knowledge of Salesforce
Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while still meeting deadlines
Must be able to communicate effectively with others, especially with colleagues, supervisors and customers
Must be organized, task oriented, and possess an attention to detail
Proficient in MS Office: Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
Ability to thrive in a team environment while being a self-starter with minimal supervision
Strong written, oral, communication and interpersonal skills
Must maintain a high level of knowledge about electric markets and our programs and services
Must exude a positive attitude, be a team player and willing to do whatever it takes to assist sales with achieving their goals
Must be customer focused and comfortable communicating with all levels of our customers, to include, brokers, corporate office and onsite personnel
Must be flexible and willing to adapt in an ever-changing environment
Will be required to perform additional duties as requested, directed, or assigned
Physical Requirements:
Close visual acuity to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
Occasional overtime work may be required as projects require.
Professional, fast paced, high intensity office environment.
Local travel required
