Nuna Logistics Limited Hiring For Survey Assistant at Norman Wells, NT Full Time
The Nuna Group of Companies / HRN is now accepting resumes for Survey Assistants with large earthworks and construction projects experience to work at our site near Norman Wells, NT.
Nuna is the largest Inuit-owned heavy civil construction, earthworks and mine construction contractor in Canada.
We offer:
- 2 week on / 2 week off rotations; 12 hour days
- Competitive hourly rate with Overtime pay (1.5x),

This position is located on our project site located in the Northwest Territories near Norman Wells.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Set-up and operation of conventional survey and GPS equipment.
- Follow directives received from Field Supervisor or Party Chief to assist survey team.
- Prepare accurate field notes, when required.
- Clean and maintain equipment, maintain supplies, stock company vehicle, and ensure necessary physical resources are available in the field, with minimal supervision.
- May be required to use tools and equipment such as chainsaw, machete, axe, sledge hammer, shovel, metal detector and survey tripod in order to complete assigned tasks.
- May be required to use hand and power tools to clear line quickly and efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
- Must hold a valid Driver’s License
- Must be 18+ years old
- Physically fit, able to lift heavy equipment, willing to work in varied environmental conditions
- Good written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail,
- Willing and capable of committing to a 2×2 rotation,
