Division Description
Group Risk Management (GRM) is an independent function responsible for ensuring that risk management practices at OCBC Bank are effective and comprehensive.
GRM builds and drives the Bank’s businesses through an integrated risk management approach relying on strong risk analytics to support strategic business decision-making and to create a competitive edge for the Group.
We are seeking a dynamic individual to join the Division Management Office team to support the Group Chief Risk Officer (GCRO) in the management and administration of the GRM division.
You will monitor risk developments across the Bank’s regional footprint and keep track of the performance of various teams across the region. This position is ideal for collaborative individuals with the interest and passion to learn, have attention to detail, and can think holistically.
You will report to the CRO’s office with matrix reporting to the Head of Division Management Office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Group Risk Management (GRM) in the formulation and monitoring of strategic priorities and initiatives.
• Monitor developments across different risk types (e.g. credit, market, liquidity, operational).
• Work with data sets to update risk metrics and performance management reporting.
• Production of presentations on behalf of the Group Chief Risk Officer.
• Coordination of divisional submissions for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support the organisation of staff events where the Group Chief Risk Officer will be involved.
• Support group collaboration across the different GRM units as well as subsidiaries and overseas centres.

Qualifications
The ideal Candidate will meet the following requirements:

• 5-8 years of total working experience of which 2-5 years are relevant
• Curious, analytical, and independent thinker.
• Experience with business intelligence tools preferably Qlikview.
• Quantitative analysis skills, comfortable with handling data sets and data visualization.
• Proficient in Excel and Powerpoint with the ability to create macros.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
• Preferred but not essential: Candidates proficient in Mandarin to liaise/interact with our stakeholders in the China office.
