About the role

This role is reporting into the Middle Office Operations Manager and is responsible for the day to day Investment Operations processing along with 6 other team members.

This includes booking and confirming trades, producing valuations, dealing with queries relating to portfolio performance, processing Adviser fees and regulatory reporting such as transaction reporting to the FCA and 10% drop reporting and all other Investment Operations/Middle Office processes.

The team sits within the wider Octopus Investments Operations Team which consist of around 40 team members responsible for all aspects of Operational Processing.

Delivery of the following:

• Portfolio Performance Analytics
• Portfolio Valuation review and generation
• Trading and rebalancing of Client Portfolios via set Models
• Management Fee collection
• Pricing
• Corporate Action and Dividend payments
• VCT Buy back service
• Monitoring/Reporting
  • Compliance with FCA requirements and rules (Client Money, Systems and controls, COBS and client assets) and compliance with other bodies rules (PTM etc)
• Regulatory reporting
  • Transaction Reporting
  • 10% drop
• Reconciliations
  • Monitoring and confirmation of all client assets (stock and cash / electronic and safe custody) for Octopus (where held by the team)
  • Reporting the investigation and resolving any reconciliation breaks
