Orange Recruitment is currently seeking a Data & Analytics Support Officer for our client, a Public Sector body, based in Dublin. This is a contract opportunity for an initial period of 12 months with the possibility of extension. The salary for this role is €25,927 to €40,093 per annum.

Role Purpose

Working as part of the Data and Analytics Directorate, the Support Officer is responsible for providing general administrative supports across the units of the directorate. This Job Description outlines the core responsibilities of the role though day-to-day duties may vary subject to business need.

Key Responsibility

• Schedule and organise meetings and other events on behalf of members of the directorate management team.
• Prepare and circulate materials where needed in advance (e.g. agenda’s documentation) of meetings.
• Coordinate completion of cross directorate reports such as EMT / Board reports.
• Prepare high quality meeting minutes.
• Update / upload SharePoint libraries and documents as required.
• Procurement -obtain quotes and prepare information required for purchase orders.
• Working cooperatively with all staff within the unit and the organisation as required in the operation of the administrative function.
• Provide administrative back up and support to all aspects of the unit / Directorate.
• Implement and maintain efficient & effective administrative systems including maintenance of the Directorate’s Sharepoint library
• Deal with and respond to internal/external queries and information requests, including the provision of support and cover to the funder queries function.
• Support effective time management of the Data & Analytics management team through diary management, organising and amending an annual calendar of events including team meetings, management meetings, 1-2-1s and other meetings as required.
• Collate data and information for reports, PQs, presentations internal / external ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Develop/maintain effective information systems for inter and intra Directorate communication.
• Work on cross-company projects as required and participate in the development of annual/special projects as they emerge
• Preparation of visualisations such as infographics.
• Proofreading of documents such as programme reports.
• Run Directorate specific reports from the organisation’s internal time management and business planning systems.
• Any other duties that may be assigned within the general requirements of the role as appropriate for the grade.

Requirements

• 2 years administration experience with strong organisational skills.
• Experience working independently and on own initiative
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with experience communicating at various levels within an organisation
• Proactive, results orientated and strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in MS packages, databases and SharePoint portals.
• Relevant third level qualification (e.g. Certificate, Diploma), or equivalent is desirable
