The role:

We’re looking for an Asset Information Lead reporting directly to the Head of Asset and Spatial Intelligence. The successful candidate will champion data governance, focusing on improvement in data collection, processing and storage. You will love to lead and guide your team on a journey of creating innovative new ways to capture our asset information in service of improved operational and asset management outcomes.

A little more about the role:

• Lead your team from the front with an innovative and collaborative approach
• Lead the Asset Information alongside the Discovery function ensuring analysis is supported by quality information
• Explore, experiment and lead innovative new ways of capturing our data
• Partner with stakeholders across the business to understand asset information requirements to improve information capture methodologies
• Manage the implementation and delivery of data governance
• Provide mentoring, support and growth to the Asset Information team
• Deliver on the diverse data needs of the Orion business

A little more about you:

• Relevant degree qualified in Geography, GIS or equivalent with proven experience in your field
• Solid foundation of knowledge of data capture, quality assurance and geospatial information key processes
• Ability to engage across all levels of the business, with pride and passion for what you do
• Ability to lead a team with a value driven and customer centric approach
• Ability to engage and build strong credible relationships with a variety of stakeholders
• The ability to see the “big picture” with a strategic view and solution focused outlook
• A great sense of humour, positive attitude and the ability to influence change
