Job Description

As a Junior Java Cloud Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based applications using Java and related technologies. You will collaborate with a team of experienced developers and contribute to the design and architecture of our cloud solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate individual who is eager to learn and grow in the field of cloud development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable and secure cloud-based applications using Java and related frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and contribute to the design and architecture of cloud solutions.
• Write clean and efficient code, following best practices and coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and issues.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
• Work closely with senior developers and architects to implement new features and enhancements.
• Stay up to date with the latest cloud technologies and trends in Java development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Solid understanding of Java programming language and object-oriented design principles.
• Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and technologies, preferably with experience in one or more cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Familiarity with Java frameworks such as Spring Boot or Jakarta EE.
• Experience with database technologies like SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow in cloud development.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
