Job description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Graphic Designer to join a highly regarded, leading Pet Insurer on a full-time basis. Petcover is one of the largest and most experienced pet insurance providers worldwide and for the past decade has become a leading pet insurance company for dogs, cats and horses.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the design, coordination and implementation of all advertising and publication activities for our businesses across the globe. You will assist the team with a range of digital and traditional marketing activities across multiple media channels. In turn, you will receive excellent support and be encouraged to reach your full potential.

Role & responsibilities 

• Designing and developing advertising artwork and marketing materials for both print & digital (including brochures, fliers & posters)
• Developing online marketing materials and publications
• Developing product documentation and forms (booklets, info packs, training manuals)
• Liaising with external print suppliers to quote and print publications
• Content creation and design work for external events and sales channels
• Support in implementing marketing projects & strategies with a focus on artwork creation
• Help develop and drive campaigns with a focus on artwork, message and concept creation
• Opportunity for brand identity and illustration work
• Adhoc marketing administrative duties including reporting

Skills & Experience

• Must have a genuine interest and love for all things graphic design, marketing or e-commerce
• A minimum of 3 years of proven experience working in a brand, graphic designer or similar role – ideally in an e-commerce environment. 
• Tertiary qualification in graphic design, media, arts or relevant work experience. 
• Passionate creative designer with strong finished art skills
• Advance competencies in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Microsoft Office
• Some understanding of After Effects, PremierPro, Dreamweaver, HTML + CSS, and video editing.
• Able to manage projects and communicate comfortably with key stakeholders within the business
• Able to meet tight deadlines, manage workloads and pivot to meet the changing nature of this industry
• Pixel-perfect attention to detail and pride in your work
• Able to work as part of a team as well as independently
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• An interest in working in the pet or insurance industry
