TO CHAMPION OUR PASSION, YOU WILL NEED TO:

• Complete daily maintenance activities and requirements
• Populate and maintain preventative maintenance schedules as directed and keep accurate records
• Deliver on time, first class preventative maintenance
• Identify any mechanical fault that may lead to major break down of machines and suggest best ways to mitigate further problem
• Diagnose and repair or replace worn parts in machine and equipment
• Support the maintenance process and support production with technical support
• Determine inventory and spares records
• Implement the 5’s and Lean principles
• Plan and coordinate activities concerned with the design, construction, modification, and maintenance of equipment and machinery
• Demonstrate a passion for Continuous Improvement 
• Keep accurate records of work undertaken
• Writes reports on failure history of various equipment in the plant and recommend improvements
• Mentors and trains Line Technicians and OperatorsAddress any issues immediately
• Play a supporting role with the development of standards and procedures for installation, modification, quality control, testing, inspection and maintenance according to engineering principles and safety
• Inspect plant to ensure optimum performance is maintained
• First contact for engineering support to the production team
• Follow and participate in the maintenance of all equipment in accordance with the quality system

Qualifications

• Tertiary level qualification in Engineering or relevant Trade experience
• GMP and RMP exposure
• Proven background in assembling/servicing high quality machines both manual and automated is an advantage
• MIG and TIG welding would be helpful
