Education Improvement Partner Role Profile
This is an exciting opportunity to join Plymouth City Council’s Education Partnerships team.
The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator who will play a key role in improving outcomes for children and young people in the city and be passionate about inclusion.
You will also have a strong, current knowledge of school improvement, education partnerships and removing barriers to learning; as well as a thorough understanding of how SEND, inclusion and disadvantage impact on children, young people and families.
You’ll be joining a cohesive and supportive team at a time when a great deal of transformative change is being driven through Plymouth’s ‘place-based’ education initiative.
You’ll also welcome the opportunity to work across the range of school types and education phases.
The successful candidate must have a Qualified teacher status and successful teaching and middle and/or senior leadership experience in an educational role.
This role is suitable for flexible working subject to the needs of the service.
