Polyflor Canada Inc. is the Canadian subsidiary of Polyflor, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of commercial and residential flooring.
Market leader in the UK, Germany and Australia, Polyflor has over 100 years experience manufacturing world class flooring products.
We have an opportunity for a driven and successful Product Consultant (Specification Sales) to join our Polyflor Canada team. This position is due to growth.
Reporting to the Regional Manager you will promote and sell our range of flooring products to a specific client list consisting of Architects, Designers, End Users & Flooring Contractors.
You will maintain and further develop the existing customer base and identify new business opportunities. You will be required to work towards specific targets and must work well both as an individual and as part of an ever growing team.

For this role, it is preferred that applicants have a background in selling commercial interior products via specification sales, however not necessarily flooring products.

• Must have the ability to build trust-based relationships with customers (person to person) while finding and developing new clients.
• Must be comfortable working out on the road day to day visiting customers in their own locations.
• Must be confident and comfortable with making cold calls (person to person).
• Must be able to work in a dynamic sales, high pressured sales environment with excellent multi-tasking and time management skills.
• Must be capable of multi-tasking with superior attention to detail and meeting strict deadlines & timelines.
• This is a physically demanding position that requires multiple samples to carried and presented all day, every day.
• Previous knowledge of commercial flooring products not required but specification sales experience a must.
