Responsibility Section:

The Medical Surgical (Med/Surg) Registered Nurse (RN) provides superior patient experience while working with a strong supportive team and excellent mentors. The Med/Surg nurse is the single largest nursing specialty in the United States, they have a broad knowledge base and are experts in their practice.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Provide care and treatment to ill, injured and recovering patients

• Assess patient conditions and administer medications on time

• Change dressings and monitor vital signs

• Keep records accurately

• Provide patients with support and education

Saint John Hospital is looking for experienced Nurses for our Medical Surgical (Med/Surg) role.

Nights Shift – 12hr – 36hr Weeks

Education and Work Experience

• Current and valid state RN License.

• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.

• Current ACLS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.

• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.

• Ventilator Management experience preferred.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
