As a Medical Affairs Director for P&G you will lead coordinating and enabling the conduct of Non-Discretionary activities which have to do in order to meet external or internal regulations related to the marketing of our products and, Discretionary work undertaken in the sub-region/ cluster to enable successful business deliverables, HCP endorsement, advocacy and organizational compliance.
You will lead assigned medical projects and support delivery of business goals by teaming up with all the relevant internal and external partners. You will be involved in development and execution of regional Medical strategy and ensure that associated plans and activities are in line with business needs.
Scope of the role:
1. Non-Discretionary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Supporting Pharmacovigilance activities including input to safety reports.
- Provides mentorship and sets priorities for the development and update of Core Documents.
- Review & Approval of promotional & non-promotional externally focused materials including social media.
- Medical Information – facilitating responses to questions on product efficacy, safety and use from HCPs, consumers and other external parties.
- Medical Governance – framework of policies and system ensuring compliance with recognized medical/ ethical standards related to the marketing of PHCI products.
- Defending challenges from authorities and competition.
2. Discretionary responsibilities are predominantly externally focused and may include:
- Manages & collaborates Key Opinion Leaders to drive brand advocacy and build scientific credibility.
- Managing/ enabling P&G and third-party HCP engagement platforms such as Scientific symposia, sponsorships, Advisory Boards, Professional Meetings etc.
- Drives the scientific publication strategy related to the dissemination of medical-clinical data.
- Design and reporting of P&G sponsored clinical trials across all phases of research.
- Review/ approval & management of external research Grants and Investigator Initiated Clinical Trials.
- Leading/ Enabling the development of non-promotional and promotional content including Toolboxes, Educational Modules, Detail-Aids
- Contributes to the Franchise Brand Equity and Strategy development and deployment.

Qualifications
Qualifications required for this role:
- Eligible to work in Mexico City (Interlomas).
- A MD, PharmD or biological sciences PhD with minimum 7 years’ experience in Pharmaceutical/ Healthcare Industry.
- experience in area of medical affairs, with relevant expertise on medicinal products, food supplements and medical devices.
- Knowledge on regulatory requirements and standards in product development, regulations and internal quality documents.
- Previous experience as a speaker and in medical and product training.
- Expertise on medicinal products in digestive field is desirable.
- Experience with third party software (like Zinc maps, Promomats), adobe suite.
- Excellent visionary, strategic and strong leadership skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- Strong thinking/problem-solving skills which can be applied to business processes with a “can-do” attitude.
