Job Description:
The AIM-9X program had an immediate opening for a Senior Financial Analyst. This role would include execution of several contracts between both Platform Integration and Demonstrations. Specifically. AIM-9X program equate roughly to $600M of annual revenues in support of a Navy, Air Force, Army and FMS customer base. This analyst would also have the opportunity get exposure to other contracts as their desire and skillset permits (fleet training, mission planning, etc). This financial role serves as a critical business partner by providing analysis, insight and guidance to program leadership in order to enable strategic decisions leading to program execution and fiduciary success. This diverse portfolio includes ongoing execution of a handful of unique DoD contract types, at various phases in the program life cycle, and therefore the ideal candidate must be able to prioritize and allocate resources in a challenging, deadline driven environment. In addition, professional and effective communication skills are required due to the frequent interaction with program, product line and functional leadership.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
The program includes an efficient and effective team that relies on individual drive and integrity for success. Program culture is of high priority in this environment and it is expected that the candidate is capable of building business relationships, trust and rapport with business contacts within not only the program, but also the functional and integrated product teams. As the finance lead for their portfolio of contracts, the expectation is that this person can develop strong organizational skills and will manage all internal (EACs, EV, Rplan/Financial Planning) and external requirements and deadlines (CDRLs, ) associated with contracts in their purview. In order to facilitate accurate and effective financial reporting and analysis, this position will work closely with various functional and program leads to proactively analyze and articulate financial impacts. EACs and EV metrics directly inform the financial forecasting for each contract, and this analyst is responsible for understanding how changes in their contracts’ execution impact the BSEC (bookings, sales, earnings and cash) metrics and are planned timely and accurately. In addition to the recurring role activities, this individual will be expected to perform ad-hoc requests, design and execute creative solutions/opportunities to program and process challenges, assist in the development of fundamental and intermediary analytical skills of junior analysts, and help automate reporting and analytical tools used across the programs.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor’s degree in one of the following disciplines: Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Math, Management or other closely related field.
At least 2 years of relevant professional financial work experience
Experience with financial analysis and coordinating across different functions (supply chain, engineering, contracts, operations, quality, etc.)
Experience with program control responsibilities relating to elements of financial planning, monitoring cost and schedule, EACs, or similar
Qualifications We Value:

Analytical skills and the ability to become proficient with main-frame style business systems where vast amounts of data require mining and analysis
Ability to work alone and on teams in a results oriented environment to develop solutions for complex problems that will gain desired outcomes.
Clear, succinct written and verbal communication skills
Strong experience with Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas), Word and Powerpoint
Able to meet critical deadlines and develop and apply solutions and process improvements in a fast paced changing business environment
