Principal Responsibilities
:
** Electrical Engineers II for Chicago, IL location.*

The Electrical Engineer II will:
Technical Environment: microcontrollers and digital signal
processors (ARM Cortex-M, PIC, TI MSP430, Atmel AVR), C/C++, C#, Matlab;
RF design; electronics schematic design software and PCB layout software
(Altium); higher level programming tools (MPLAB IDE. Rowley CrossStudio
for ARM, Eclipse, MS Visual Studio, GIT, Subversion, and Doxygen);
Python programming for data acquisition, processing, visualization, and
control; hand tools, electronics tools, and machine tools to fabricate,
adjust, modify, and repair devices (oscilloscope, vector network
analyzer (VNA), spectrum analyzer, RF power meter, signal/function
generator, benchtop power supply, LCR meter, digital multimeter (DMM).
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

Experience developing wireless biomedical implantable devices, using
Python programming for data acquisition, visualization, & control;
Altium; circuit simulation using SPICE or similar; developing software
at the application layer, driver development for microcontrollers &
digital signal processors (ARM Cortex-M, TI, Atmel AVR), C, C#, MATLAB;
RF design, Rowley CrossStudio for ARM; Eclipse, Visual Studio, GIT;
design, fabricate, troubleshoot, program & test systems to validate
design performance; using test equipment, VNA, spectrum analyzer, RF
power meter, LCR meter. 40% telecommuting permitted.
