Royal Society of Wildlife Trusts Hiring for Education Officer Job at Birmingham, England , UK Full Time

We’re looking for an Education Officer to deliver outdoor learning activities, primarily at our EcoPark and Centre of the Earth sites, inspiring local school children and families to connect with the nature on their doorstep.

This is an exciting time to be joining the Wildlife Trust and help deliver our vision of a Wilder Birmingham and Black Country. The Education Officer is a pivotal role in raising awareness and understanding of wildlife issues, responsible for developing, planning and delivering a programme of environmental education sessions and wild play activities.

Applicants must be able to evidence relevant experience in delivering curriculum-linked environmental education sessions for children. You will be able to demonstrate a track record of delivering family activities in an outdoor setting and show a positive attitude to developing relationships with schools and other relevant institutions. It is essential that you have a degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant environmental subject, or demonstrable relevant experience in the sector.
