Responsibilities

• Design and develop HTML5/JavaScript applications on Samsung Smart TV
• Design and develop Intelligent Cloud systems with voice assistance
• Quickly prototype new ideas/technologies to create proof of concept and demos
• Evaluate and recommend best software designs and architecture
• Effectively communicate with global engineering teams
• Availability to travel overseas for business trips, if needed (e.g. South Korea)

Requirements

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
• Working experience in web application development, Smart TV App experience is a plus
• Strong programming experience with web technologies such as React, Redux, CSS, etc
• Working experience with server development with DB
• Experience consuming API’s via REST, gRPC
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Solid understanding on various software development tools, software process, and environments: IDE, debugger, source control, bug tracking, etc.
• Ability to multi-task effectively under considerable pressure and deadlines and easily adapt within a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Plus

• High interests in voice assistance products.
• Natural Language Processing background.
• Familiarity with building cloud systems and/or using cloud services for machine learning.
