ScalePad is looking for a Manager, People and Culture, who will be a champion of ScalePad’s culture and values while lending expertise to the team on all people-related matters.
The Manager, People and Culture is someone who can implement strategies to increase diversity and inclusion within the organization and implement initiatives for employee engagement and retention. The role requires a true ‘people person’ with a sincere passion for supporting great teams and helping them thrive. This is a high volume, tactical role with frequent onboarding and process activities. Presently the role is supported by a People & Culture Coordinator and a Talent Acquisition Specialist.
Responsibilities
Hiring of Rocketeers!
Implement organizational goal deployment with vision and values that lead to more employee engagement
Review, create and implement necessary P&C Standardization Processes that leads to smooth employee operations and relations
Lead P&C projects like compensation plans revisions
Apply knowledge and skills in talent management and acquisition
Lead organizational development, performance management, working with managers
Oversee performance evaluation systems and process
Implement and coordinate new company policies and procedures
Manage internal communication projects (OfficeVibe)
Oversee employee benefits and payroll (SunLife & Rise)
Measure the effectiveness of the company benefit program and recommend refinements
Coordinate employee training and development initiatives
Ensure our record keeping remains compliant
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Management, or any related field
Work experience in HR operations or similar role for no fewer than 3 years
Experience with Human Resources Information Systems including payroll tools (Rise and BambooHR preferred)
Experience in extended health benefits programs
Strong knowledge of employment legislation in Canada
Excellent presentation and persuasion skills
Competencies:

Is proficient in Google Workplace and Asana
