MULTI AGENCY EDUCATION LIASION OFFICER INTEGRATED FRONT DOOR

FULL- TIME BASED AT MAGDALEN HOUSE IN BOOTLE

Sefton Council have recently reviewed the front door arrangements to create a single, integrated front door to ensure greater oversight and consistency over all referrals.

The multi-agency safeguarding hub (MASH) deals with referrals from professionals and members of the public who have concerns about a child’s welfare and safety. It makes the process of dealing with referrals swifter and more effective by improving the way the local authority, health, education, police and other colleagues share information.

This is an exciting and challenging opportunity. You will work as part of a dynamic multi-agency integrated team working in a fast-paced, modern environment where you can develop your skills and experience. You will be vital to the effectiveness of the front door arrangements in relation to Safeguarding in Schools.

You will need to be adaptable, to work well both individually and as part of a team and to work to tight timescales. You will need excellent communication skills to ask questions sensitively of professionals and senior leaders in schools. Experience of working in Education or Children’s Safeguarding is essential.
