Southern Cross’ Gillies Hospital, located in Epsom, has been designed with a focus on short stay surgery and family-centred care, with four theatres, a purpose built day-stay facility and 16 inpatient beds with ensuite facilities. A centre of expertise for head and neck surgery and otolaryngology (ENT), it offers oral and maxillofacial, gynaecological, plastic and reconstructive and general paediatric surgery, backed up by friendly, highly professional nursing teams and systems designed to benefit patients of all ages.

About the role:

We are currently seeking a full time Receptionist, within our hospital. You will be required to work flexible shifts, finishing no later than 8.30pm, including working weekends.

To be successful you will need:

• A professional, friendly, warm manner with a customer-focused approach
• Be well-presented, have great communication and interpersonal skills
• Have excellent written and verbal English and highly competent data entry skills
• Ability to manage workload efficiently with accuracy
• Be able to multitask while remaining calm and thorough under pressure
• Ability to work both collaboratively in a team as well as independently
• Previous experience in the health sector would be a definite advantage
