Under general supervision, this position is responsible for operating the telephone switchboard to route incoming telephone calls to the appropriate individuals. Greets and announces visitors.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience. Answers telephone calls and makes proper connections to persons requested. Provides routine information to callers and visitors. Records and transmits messages. Greets and directs visitors to proper personnel Assist with mail functions. Assists with the coordination of outgoing and incoming conference calls. Issues and collects employment applications forms and maintain application flow log. Performs other duties as requested by supervisor.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge

Ability to read, write, speak and understand English Ability to listen to and interpret the needs of the customer Ability to operate telephone console Ability to perform multiple tasks at one time Ability to prioritize and organize effectively Knowledge of personal computer operation and software applications (MS Word and Excel)

Required Education

High School Diploma or equivalent
