Tauranga City Council Looking for Health, Safety, and Wellbeing Business Partner at Tauranga, Bay of Plenty Full Time

The purpose of the Health, Safety, and Wellbeing Business Partner at Tauranga City Council is to provide specialist expertise and support, to enable health, safety and wellbeing practices to be embedded in how work is designed and performed across TCC placing ownership with people leaders and managers for ensuring our people remain healthy and safe, every day.

This role includes:

• Ensuring TCC Business Units receive expert advice that is trusted and best practice.
• Ensuring the TCC Health and Safety framework is continually improved to meet the evolving needs of the organisation.
• Ensuring Health and safety representatives are consulted and involved in health and safety decisions for business areas.

To be successful, you will have:

• A tertiary qualification in occupational health and safety, or a related field at NZQA Level 6 or higher.
• Be a generalist health and safety professional with proven experience in a business partnering or similar role.
