Job Description

In a period of unprecedented competition, this leader will be tasked with setting strategic initiatives, leading operational

excellence, and driving innovation to foster growth, reimagine the go-to-market strategy, and transform the

platform’s products and services, further solidifying TD Direct Investing’s position as the market leader in the

industry. In addition to driving market share and profitability, this individual will also be responsible for

delivering superior customer and employee experiences, and proactively managing the platform’s reputation

with regulators, legislators, and community groups. Key to this individual’s success will be their ability to operate

within the broader TD Bank ecosystem, and effectively collaborate with the company’s broader leadership

across lines of business and functions in order to drive a cohesive strategy and achieve desired objectives.

Job Requirements

General management/P&L leadership experience.

Experience as a general manager/P&L owner, with a proven track record of setting and implementing strategy

and driving growth and profitability. Accustomed to using sophisticated data and analytic techniques to help

identify and prioritize growth opportunities, including ways to enhance/differentiate products and services and

diversify revenue streams. Experience leading a team within a large, complex, and matrixed environment.

Experience leveraging data/analytics, technology, and digital capabilities to provide an innovative, differentiated

and customer-centric offering.

Digitally-forward with a deep understanding of, and appreciation for, technological advancement and

innovation, including a progressive outlook on the future of emerging products and services (i.e., crypto,

fractional shares). An understanding of what will differentiate TD Direct Investing as a provider of choice for

both current customers as well as prospective clients, including “New-to-Investing” clients.

Bachelor’s degree or comparable academic training is required.

Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) or comparable post-graduate academic training preferred.
