Seeking a Program Manager in our Military / Aerospace / Defense business unit. In this role you will be responsible for the successful management of cost, schedule and scope management of multiple projects or subsystems of major programs. The successful candidate must be able to manage change, escalate issues, and take an active role in getting decisions made in a timely manner.
Responsibilities include:
Facilitating the creation of project schedules.
Handle obsolescence work.
Monitor and close programs/projects to achieve program objectives.
Use industry standard techniques and tools to measure progress against product and program objectives.
Drive proactive corrective action where required.
Manage scope change control activities and communicate periodic project assessment to sponsors.
Basic Qualifications, Experience & Skills
• BS, ideally a BSEE with 5 or more years of project management experience
• Association with PMI and Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills including ability to communicate and foster communication between project groups.
• Experience managing team elements in multiple geographic locations.
