Job Description

Supports the North America HR Commercial Business Support Teams with project management, analysis, reporting, project coordination and some administrative tasks such as the preparation of communications, presentations, departmental procurement, and meeting logistics.

ESSENTIAL AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Following is a list of some but not all responsibilities and specific tasks that will be assigned to the person in this role:

HR Generalist functions

• Support in the organization of departmental meetings including creation of presentation materials, scheduling, and logistics
• Responsible for identification of gaps, areas for improvement and maintenance of processes that lead to the efficient and effective operations of HR team that supports NA Commercial
• As needed, assist HRMs in the investigation and resolution of employee inquiries in areas such as benefits, payroll and leaves of absence
• Assist in the talent acquisition process to include creation of job requisitions, liaison with talent acquisition partners, and review of hiring documentation

Data Analytics and Reporting

• Maintenance of HR data to support the employee life cycle from hire to separation
• Support HR data quality in HRIS Systems by auditing organizational charts, cost centers, supervisors, work locations, etc.
• Create ad hoc reports supporting HR Business Partners analyze trends in headcount, attrition, talent acquisition, and talent development
• Help identify the need and support the availability of periodic reports that might be needed on a monthly, weekly or quarterly basis

Projects coordination

• Helps create and manage the HR events calendar for North America
• Assist and manage various projects for the Business Partners to ensure timely completion. Conducts a variety of investigations including time and expense audits.

Qualifications

Education/Certification/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college required.
• Intermediate to advance proficiency in MS Office

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

• Proven Excel skills in managing databases, performing lookups, setting up pivot tables, and designing charts.
• Willingness and aptitude for learning new technologies
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and inter-cultural competence
• Strong Interpersonal and people skills, in particular the ability to build relationships and influence others
• Positive, high energy individual with the agility to change from task to task and support a number of projects at the same while supporting multiple HR Business Partners
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly in a collaborative and fast pace environment
• Prioritization and multi-tasking a plus
• Ability to work both independently and on a team
• Ability to maintain confidentiality

Problem Solving:

• Proactively works on problems of a simple to moderate scope
• Seeks out all resources when selecting methods and techniques for obtaining results
• Acts independently and proactively to recommend and administer methods and procedures for problem resolution
