How will you make an impact?
Directs the efforts of the Production Planning within the manufacturing operations. Responsible for developing of the production plan & detailed scheduling for solid dose, OC, PDS to meet the business objectives in compliance with all regulatory requirements, cGMP’s and company policies, procedures and goals. Develops and implement procedures and programs for the production planning, with the intention of enhancing operating efficiencies, improve the processes flow, optimize sales and operations in the common pursuit of superior customer service to achieve site OTIF (On Time In Full) and revenue goals and other supply chain objectives
What will you do?
Develops short-term production plan aligned with the capacity of the plant and establishes the necessary strategies to meet customer demand and financial targets.
Manages and improves production scheduling process MPS (Master Production Schedule), MRP (Material Requirement Planning) and CAP (Capacity Planning) for the site and adjust schedules accordingly to ensure deliver site goals and objectives.
Ensures production operation plan is aligned with the capacity of the plant (medium and long term) and establishes strategies needed to comply with the customer’s needs and new products launches.
Leads Rough Cut Capacity Requirement Planning; analyzes site capacity requirements, identifies mid-long term bottlenecks and discusses corrective action
Conducts statistics analysis, production scenario planning & modeling with various customers demand to recommend optimal production plan to minimize cost and maximum operations output
Reviews current ERP, Sale Order Report (SOR), Milestone production planning & scheduling tools to identify the area of improvement, optimize the tools to enhance planning team’s productivity and efficiency.
Provides clear and concise direction and communication of planning priorities and production schedules to achieve site revenue and OIF (On Time In Full) goals
Provides leadership and recommends scheduling adjustments to management supporting changing business needs or customer requests; resolves trade-offs, with top management if required
Leads planning meetings, prioritizes clients’ requirement, proactively address potential issues, and resolves roadblocks that may interrupt the production schedule to ensure achieving on-time delivery target.
How will you get here?
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Business Administration or related field. APICS CPIM and/or CSCP certification and Lean Six Sigma, Project Management Certification is preferred.
Experience
At least six (6) to ten (10) of experience in Master Data, Production Planning or Supply Chain lead role.
Experience, in Pharma/medical devices industries, preferable.
Experience in S&OP, Demand, Supply and Capacity Planning Experience, required.
Experience with enterprise system deployment (IBP and global S&OP)
Equivalency: Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience may be considered.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Demonstrated strong manufacturing planning processes design, improvement and implementation skills
Knowledgeable in statistics, production scenario planning & modeling, what-if scenario analysis, algorithm for dynamic programming are preferred
S&OP experience required (ability to implement, develop & maintain demand, supply, capacity analysis and templates).
ERP knowledge and understanding of Planning, Purchasing, and Inventory transactions.
