Note: This job is located in Hoboken, NJ; we work off a hybrid model and come into the office 2 days per week.

Tipico is looking for a Junior Marketing Analyst to work with stakeholders across the company, as well as with third party partners, to help arm the Marketing Department with best data and insights to drive new customer acquisition and ensure strong retention of our current customer base. The Junior Marketing Analyst will be a key part of the Marketing Department and will support the team in measuring the performance of our campaigns & tactics, build tools, reports, and infrastructure to enable us to make more data-driven decisions, and user our data to assist with key insights and an optimized budget.
Having a passion or knowledge of sports and betting is ideal, but not required, and we will provide an extensive training experience as well as continued development to make sure you stay up to date with what’s happening in the world of gaming and sports.
Key duties and responsibilities include:
- Build reports to track KPIs and benchmarks for paid and organic marketing across all channels
- Design and implement automated, actionable reports, dashboards, and data visualizations that can be used across the organization to monitor the effectiveness of marketing efforts
- Support storytelling by interpreting data and assessing the implications for our brands and campaigns
- Work across departments and agencies to interpret and using data to optimize investments
- Ensure data is QA’d and tracked properly
- Leverage Tipico’s Google Analytics platform and the insights we derive from it
- Coordinate with a mix of vendors and agencies to enable the marketing measurement agenda
- Continually seek out and explore new vendor capabilities and data sources
- Coordinator with our BI team on marketing-related reporting needs
- Use Domo and other data visualization tools to develop reports and insights into improving our acquisition and retention efforts
- Maintain monthly reporting against budgets and forecasts across the department, as well as develop ad-hoc reporting to measure the success of campaigns and promotions
- 1-2 years of relevant experience including but not limited to: marketing analytics or quantitative advertising research
- Experience in an advertising or marketing agency or workplace
- Development experience in data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, Domo, or equivalent
- Deep knowledge of Google Analytics
- Understanding of marketing technology landscape with an eye on finding us a strong lineup of partners and an effective portfolio of acquisition and retention tactics
- Strong communication skills
- Independent self-starter with high attention to detail who can deliver results with minimal supervision
- Must be an independent, strategic, and creative thinker who is a strong team player (no job is too small or too large) and willing to take on additional responsibilities as necessary
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Organized taskmaster with strong presentation skills
- Ability to think outside the box, be innovative and in tune with industry trends, be adaptable, and come up with creative solutions to changing business challenges
- Must be 21 years of age or older with the ability to obtain and maintain required State Gaming Licenses
- You must have the ability to work from home and our Hoboken office in our flex work environment
- Bachelor’s degree with a preferred focus in Marketing, Data Analytics, or similar field
Nice to have:
- Knowledge about and / or experience with sports betting
- Online gaming and gambling experience
- Domo and Google Data Studio experience
