Global Forwarding delivers cargo across our global network via road, rail, sea, and air. The Role

This position will be responsible for providing effective tender handling, when received from internal & external customers, and align opportunities together with Company’s growth & strategy.

• Ensure the Global Tender Management team will respond on time, in full to customers’ tender requests with a unique TGF solution in a timely manner.
• Ensure alignment between sales, product, and tender managements teams
• Measure and monitor tender performance to ensure continuous improvement
• Lead/prepare/support Global/Regional air & ocean freight RFQ/RFI responses within the agreed timelines, ensure high quality and consistency of data accuracy
• Verify with account owners and customers for actual service requirement and develop strategy and approach for each tender received
• Identify opportunities and communicate through to procurement teams and local offices to ensure the right pricing is being prepared & sourced

About you 

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• 7+ years’ experience in the global freight forwarding / logistics industry
• Experience in product & solution design & team management
• Understands business principles and language, including the fundamentals of finance and profitability. Uses this understanding and acts in a way that contributes to our performance and profitability
• Demonstrates a clear understanding of the organisation’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats
• Knowledge of MS Office, advanced MS excel experience
• Able to work under pressure to deliver quality work under tight deadlines
