Transforma Robotics is a deep tech start-up local company and headquartered in Singapore. As a fast growing start up, we are expanding our team to prepare for the future expansion.

This position will be reporting to Senior Mechanical Engineer in our R&D Department to design and develop new robotic solutions for construction and Infrastructure industries.

This would be a full-time position located in Singapore.

Qualification Requirement:

• Mechanical Engineering in Polytechnic
• Over 3 years of experience in relevant industry and field.
• Hands-on experience with Solidworks
• Hands-on experience with hydraulic pump and air compressor
• A good understanding of principles and application of fluid dynamics
• Able to read, interpret and plot mechanical drawings independently
• Able to do assembly according to the shop drawings independently
• Able to check the BOM list independently
• Able to give basic quality check of fabricated pieces

General requirements:

• Team Player. Willing to give support to operation team when needed
• Hands-on
• Willing to take up or learn new areas of work to enhance knowledge in robotic design, manufacturing and implementation.
• Good communication skills and co-ordination skills.
• Prior experience in construction industry or automation industry would be a plus

Job scope:

• Reporting to Senior Mechanical Engineer to support the mechanical design work.
• Required to work out detail mechanical design using Solidworks.
• Perform basic QC on prototypes or products.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting, preventive maintenance and calibration of robots.
• Perform basic machining and hands-on work as and when required for modification of parts.
• Perform lab tests and field tests for projects
• Prepare Technical/Engineering documentation such as design specifications
• Assist engineers with other ad-hoc tasks when necessary
