Key Results Areas / Main Duties and Responsibilities
Main Educational activities – UCL MBBS programme:
- Delivering undergraduate firm/bed-side teaching sessions
- Developing electronic resources for undergraduate surgical medical education
- Mapping and updating the surgical curriculum to the growing needs of junior doctors/UCL Curriculum map
- Assessment: writing, reviewing, and standard setting SBA and OCaPE/OSCE assessment items, supporting delivery of practical assessments
Main Clincal activites:
The fellow will work with the clincal teams to ensure good quality pre, peri and postoperative care of the surgical patients. He/she will be working jointly with the other trainee surgeons in order to provide cross cover and continuous service. There will be opportunity to attend theatre sessions, weekly ward rounds and outpatient clinics.
