United Staffing Solutions Hiring for Training Coordinator (Per-Diem) at New York, NY Full Time

Job Summary:

The Training Coordinator is responsible for planning and coordinating a wide range of training opportunities across the agency, as well as developing the employees’ knowledge and skills to enable them to fulfill our Statement of Purpose.

Essential Job Duties:

• Serves as the agency’s SCIP-R, Risking Connections, and New Hire Orientation trainer when qualified.
• Plans and coordinates all behavioral training sessions
• Preparation of training manuals, sign-in sheets and other materials for these trainings including refreshments and room set up
• Tracks and uploads training checklists and completion of mandatory trainings requirements to Relias.
• Updates content of training curriculum and delivery methods to improve effectiveness.
• Provides input to develop agency wide training calendar.
• Supports Behavioral Health staff with trainings, including content development, delivery & evaluation of training effectiveness.
• Identifies & updates online resources training manuals, course content and checklist
• Creates new trainings or in-services, as needed when gaps in skills/competencies are identified.
• Works collaboratively with agency administration in organization and delivery of trainings designed to enhance agency culture and alignment with agency values.
• Assists with the development and future utilization of the Agency’s training hub
• Any other duty as assigned by your Supervisor.

Requirements:

• Must be a certified instructor for SCIP-R, Adult and Child CRP/First Aid
• Minimum one year direct hands on teaching/training in the field of developmental disabilities under OPWDD guidelines
• Knowledge of and one year’s teaching experience teaching behavioral interventions
• Must have excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
• Proficient in computer skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• On call
