University for the Creative Arts International College (UCAIC) has a unique and diverse portfolio of English language courses, spanning three campuses (Farnham, Epsom and Canterbury). In-sessional EAP on each campus has a subject-specific focus, providing English language support to all UCA students.
UCAIC is looking to appoint a highly motivated and inspiring EAP tutor. The appointed tutor will work closely with the In-sessional Lead and Head of EAP to deliver in-sessional EAP on Canterbury campus and ensure that the in-sessional English delivery is carried out under the mission, policies and regulations of the University and School strategic plans.
You will have a good honours degree, preferably at Master’s level, and a CELTA, DELTA, or relevant PGCE. You will have extensive experience teaching EAP and EFL, including online teaching. You will have a collaborative and creative approach to the role, and have the ability to communicate supportively, clearly and appropriately with staff and students from diverse backgrounds.
At UCA, creativity and innovation are at the heart of what we do. Our legacy of educating eager and passionate artists, makers and thinkers runs back almost 160 years, and today we’re helping shape a global future that supports and nourishes talent worldwide.
Our campuses across Surrey and Kent are vibrant communities, each specialising in different areas of the creative industries. We are also home to a thriving research hub, with academic experts and fellows leading the way in research on sustainability, design, textiles, animation, history and culture, and more.
Are you ready to share your passion for creativity with the next generation of innovators? If so, we want to hear from you.
