About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time Education Support Assistant to join our Education Support Team, working in the Penryn Hub team. All applicants should have the ability to be able to work from home (with a stable wifi connection) and on the Penryn Campus as required.
The Education and Student Support (ESS) Directorate provides all of the key administration and education support activities that underpin the student experience from Fresher’s week to Graduation. This role is within the Education Support team which provides the core and critical operational support for teaching administration and support for delivery of taught programmes. A particular focus for this role will involve working with the Information Point Team handling front-line enquiries arising via a number of different routes; dealing with assessments and mitigation applications plus their management systems; maintaining front-line process manuals and identifying any developments/improvements.
About you
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly-motivated individual with a keen interest in providing excellent customer service to students, staff and external stakeholders in matters relating to education and programme support at both undergraduate and postgraduate level across the Penryn Campus.
If you have experience of working flexibly both as part of a team and independently and can demonstrate excellent people skills and a personable nature in order to provide outstanding customer service in this front-line role, then this could be the ideal role for you. Excellent IT skills and experience of administration work will also be essential. This is a very busy role, so the ability to multi-task is essential.
