We are recruiting a grade 5 teaching technician who will support the practicals for undergraduate and postgraduate taught modules. They will also act as a demonstrator whilst the practicals are running. The support extends to all disciplines within the School of Life Sciences and the Institute of Systems, Molecular & Integrative Biology as the needs require, including fieldwork and outreach activities.
The successful candidate will act as a technical module lead supporting the academic, in one or more of the biological subject areas (i.e. Biochemistry, Microbiology, Molecular Biology). The successful candidate must have the knowledge and practical experience in one or two of the above disciplines. The individual will supervise a small number of technicians who will assist you with the setup of the teaching practicals.
