The University of Southampton is one of the UK’s top universities, offering well-established Pre-sessional courses. In order to meet student demand we are looking once more to recruit suitably qualified and experienced tutors. You will be responsible for delivering a set curriculum with up to twenty hours student contact time per week, and setting and marking assessments. In addition, you will complete administrative duties related to teaching and attend team sessions with course coordinators. Post holders should be graduates, with relevant professional qualifications, and experience of student centred English Language/ Academic Skills teaching. Please see job description/ person specification attached.

You will need to be based in the UK for this role, whether teaching online or on campus. You must be available to work for the full course duration. Annual leave is not permitted to be taken during the course but rather is paid at the end of the contract, save for exceptional circumstances that must be approved in advance.
