Partner with the MLBS Station Manager to set service priorities that best meet the needs of the station’s research and teaching programs, coordinate custodial services during resident turnover, update job statuses, communicate any delays or outages, and schedule support of station events or equipment installations.
Direct the daily activities of any temporary UVA Facilities Management (FM) station employees.
Provide occasional guidance and instruction to station student, staff, and faculty on the safe use of tools and effective methods of work.
Along with MLBS station staff, monitor and interact with unscheduled visitors to promote station security in a positive, welcoming manner.
