Key Purpose

The Print Supervisor participates and assists the Facility Manager in providing optimal customer relations in the operations and maintenance the printroom. Supervises and coordinates the activities of workers .

• Successful delivery of prioritized projects and programs
• In partnership with internal and external stakeholders understand upcoming priorities and linking project delivery to the needs of the business
• Deployment of relevant projects following the global/local standards while having complete ownership of project roll out and completion
• Develop own skill base in line with agreed appraisal, taking responsibility for increased performance, and ensuring continued self-improvement
• Participate and embrace the development opportunities

Ideal Candidate Experience

• High school or technical school graduate.
• Possesses required state and local licenses.
• Five years of skilled maintenance work.
• Previous experience supervising other trades or janitorial.
• Knowledge of the methods, practices, and techniques of maintaining building and facilities.
• Knowledge of the equipment, tools and materials used in building maintenance and janitorial.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and drawings.
• Ability to keep detailed records of activities performed.

Key Accountabilities

• Responds to customer complaints and maintains positive relationships with all customers and ISS Facility Services personnel.
• Schedules and assigns work responsibilities to employees to meet shift requirements.
• Requisition materials, tools, and supplies needed for a job.
• Administrates preventive maintenance schedule.
• Records and evaluates preventive maintenance activities and programs.
• Administrates reactive maintenance/repair schedule.
• Administrates Work Order Systems.
• Observes/evaluates corrective maintenance or repair on equipment.
• Orients and trains employees to perform maintenance activities and tasks.
• Administrates and communicates to employees about company, and customer’s policies and procedures.
• Communicates to Facility Manager any information affecting or having the potential to affect customer relations or employee relations.
• Assists mechanics in troubleshooting complex maintenance problems.
• Evaluates employee performance.
• Ensures safe work practices and work environment and conducts safety training program.
• Enforces work rules and expected employee behavior.
• Responds to employee complaints and grievances.
• Completes daily, weekly, and monthly logs and reports.

• Long working hours
• Sitting at a computer for 50% of the time
• Walking/Inspecting the site 50% of the time
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 10 pounds
• Must be able to work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods
