POSITION: Data Entry Specialist

World class lumber manufacturing facility based in Vicksburg, Mississippi. Vicksburg Forest Products is now embarking on its next phase of growth with significant upgrades throughout the mill along with the addition of a high-speed chip-n-saw line, taking the mill to a production capacity of 180 million board feet annually.

In this position you will work with multiple departments within the organization and have the opportunity to learn multiple facets of the lumber industry.

Responsibilities

· Responsible for maintenance of routine accounting records and reports in accordance with established procedures such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, inventory control or general accounting records.

· Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents either in the system or manually.

· Assistance with gathering information for payroll calculations, new hire paperwork, and audits.

· Monitors and records operational data to written logs and software systems.

· Perform miscellaneous clerical duties involving typing, filing, accumulating data and preparation of repetitive reports.

· Monitor incoming invoices received via email and mail.

· Other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.

Job Skills and Qualifications

· Must be accurate, detail oriented, and able to maintain confidentiality

· Problem analysis and problem resolution

· Driven by deadlines as well as customer satisfaction

· Ability to work independently.

· Strong MS Office applications experience to include Excel, Word & PowerPoint

· Experience with QuickBooks

· Strong written & verbal communication skills

· Regular and prompt attendance required.
