Skill : Rates Business Analyst

Role : T1/T2

Skills & Responsibilities:

The Role

The role will primarily sit within the Rates Team providing support and insights across critical initiatives aiming to provide real value to our customers and business partners, as well as the day to activities keeping the show on the road and the fun doesn’t stop there

Opportunities will arise to collaborate and assist multiple teams across the Sales & Trading Lab, whether that be using your skills to assist other S&T Lab deliveries or developing and sharing knowledge within the Business Analysis Chapter.

Role specific criteria

You will support the Team Product Owner to understand business problems, critically evaluating business ideas from a customer and a commercial point of view.

Able to influence key partners at a senior manager level to build positive relationships.

Support user acceptance testing related activities.

Propose improvement opportunities and develop solutions to ensure that the Groups investments meet the needs of its colleagues, customers and partners.

Extensive prior experience as a Rates Business Analyst and core associated tasks.

Organizational awareness, building and improving strong partner relationships.

Excellent communication, people management, influencing and presentation skills in a clear, concise manner

Evidence of working within an Agile environment.

A can-do approach demonstrating a positive demeanor with a will and passion for delivering excellence.

Skills and experience that will give you an advantage

A good awareness of approaches to rates pricing, curve building and risk measures

Knowledge of Rates products Bonds, Swaps, Futures, ION trading platform (or equivalent low latency solution and experience of the full product or trade lifecycle

Experience of Fintech vendor selection and onboarding
