Performs all general required tasks as directed by Foreman and Leads Performs all tasks within proper safety guidelines, company guidelines, and as directed by management Performs assignments according to company schedule and as expected by customer Performs janitorial tasks based on defined scope of work and customer requests. These are performed to published schedules and within explained guidelines. These tasks often include the following: Empty wastebaskets and replace liner as needed Dust/clean tops of office furniture, desks and tables Vacuum all carpeting Spot clean soiled areas when needed Clean and sanitize toilets, basins, and urinals Clean counters, mirrors and fixtures Sweep and damp mop floor with disinfectant Spot clean walls and doors Refill all restroom dispensers as needed Wipe/clean all table tops and chairs Wipe/clean vending machines and appliances Clean sink and damp mop tile floors Follows oral and written instructions Works effectively with a team Attends daily training and safety meetings EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS Prefer a high school diploma or equivalent plus 1–2 years of experience in custodial, janitorial, or cleaning services.
