You will be responsible for the management of staffing, ensuring that day of operation runs smoothly. You will have experience in manpower planning and general business administration experience on shift management and overtime planning.

For you it’s about driving positive change, seeking new solutions to old problems, deliver exceptional customer service as well as ensuring excellent operations on the ground. The kind of skills we’re looking for don’t have to come from the aviation sector – you may have gained them in manufacturing, business admin, customer services or even hospitality.

You’ll need:

• Eligibility to work permanently in New Zealand (citizen or permanent resident)
• While we would prefer candidates to have a driver’s licence this is not required as long as you can commit getting to and from work with reliable transport
• To be able to lead our people and ensure all staff in their team maintain health, safety, wellbeing and environment requirements.
•  Previous experience in an operational supervisory role and motivating and motivating and developing a team

• Strong communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to influence at all levels 
• Organisational & time management skills & a high degree of flexibility
• Ability to make decisions in a challenging and demanding environment.

Rostered Shifts:

The Airport operates 24 hours 7 days, and you are required to work rostered shifts which rotate and change. Rotating shifts are rostered across Monday to Sunday, including public holidays.
