Blue Giant Equipment Corporation Looking for Material Handler at Mississauga, ON Full Time

Job Duties:

• Keep accurate inventory of raw material in designated area in the shop area.
• Take instructions for Weld Shop supervisor for staging the fixtures, parts and tools at the work center
• Able to understand schedule and work closely with KPO office and lead hands to efficient material movement
• Move material between work centers.
• Knowledge of Visual is an asset. Able to use computer for transactions
• Ensure work instructions and safe work procedures are followed.
• Work as a team to ensure completion of product in a timely manner.
• Clean and maintain work area by supporting 5S program
• High mobility (walking) and capable of using manual pump lift and moving wheeled carts
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent;
• Lift and tow motor license preferred
• Read Blueprint drawings

Qualifications:

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted
• Demonstrated sense of urgency required
• Demonstrated ability to be successful in team-based operations

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $21.00 per hour
