Job Description
Provides clerical support to management or departmental staff in an accurate and service-oriented communication style. Proactively supports efforts that ensure delivery of safe patient care and services and promote a safe environment at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
Experience
- No minimum experience required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in an administrative/secretarial role, customer service, or business office
- Experience in database management
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
Certification Summary
- No professional certifications required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Demonstrated verbal/written communication, organizational, customer service, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated skill at typing 50 error-free words per minute
- Personal computer skills, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and other Windows-based and/or hospital-related database systems and applications
Job Responsibilities
1.Provides clerical support to management or departmental staff by entering information into appropriate computer systems and programs.
2.May perform other general and miscellaneous reception and clerical duties, e.g., filing, mail distribution and collection, faxing documents, scanning, answering telephones, greeting visitors, and other activities as appropriate.
